In Person Event!

OTAC: Parkinson's Foundation Annual Walk - Moving Day!

Join OTAC in the Parkinson's Foundation annual walk - Moving Day!

Date: April 26th

Time: 11am - 1pm

Location: Coal Creek Park in downtown Erie, Colorado

In a time when community building is paramount, OTAC is launching an inaugural OT Month Walk in partnership with a charity. This year, the Northern District will host the walk in Erie, CO at the beautiful Coal Creek Park from 10:30a-1p, on April 26th.

We will be walking to support the Parkinson's Foundation. Bring your family, blankets, chairs and a picnic to enjoy the company of like-minded occupational therapy practitioners after we raise money for an organization who aligns with our goals, mission and values as OTPs. We hope to bring together as any OTPs as possible at this in person event.

Visit the event website for additional information, to register, and to make a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation.

We encourage you to purchase a shirt from AOTA's "Inspiring Hope, Changing Lives" line of OT month merchandise so we can take an epic group photo, and then challenge other states to adopt a charity for next year's OT month. Shop the collection here.

Explore the AOTA page promoting OT Month for free downloadable graphics, a proclamation to share with your local government and more.

We truly cannot wait to see you for the ground breaking event. As always, e-mail info@otacco.org with any questions.
