The Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and the Office of Occupational Therapy regulates occupational therapy practitioners in the state. Office activities include issuing licenses to occupational therapists, investigating complaints about occupational therapists, and enforcing disciplinary actions taken by the Division Director.

OTAC is the Occupational Therapy Association of Colorado. It is a non-profit organization that strives to increase the quality of care and level of professionalism to the practice of OT in Colorado.
