Colorado Representative to the Representative Assembly (RA) 2024-2025
Michelle LeRoy, PhD, OTR/L, BCP
Michelle LeRoy is Colorado’s representative to the Representative Assembly (RA) with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). She has been an AOTA member and an OT practitioner for 23 years and an OTAC member since moving to Colorado in 2023. Michelle also is a member of the Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity (COTAD) and is board certified in pediatrics through AOTA. Lastly, she was a member of the RA as the representative for Nevada when living there previously.
Throughout her career, Michelle has worked as a practitioner, administrator, business owner and an educator. Her focus has been pediatrics through most of her career and in the past few years her research has turned towards working on how the OT profession can better serve the LGBTQIA2S+ community. She is committed toward helping our profession be diverse, equitable, inclusive and to have justice for all, including practitioners, students and faculty in the OT profession.
