This bill mandates that insurance companies reimburse for 6 session of OT, PT, chiropractor, and acupuncture for people prescribed an opioid for pain. OTAC advocated for OT’s to be included in this bill.
This bill makes medical reimbursement available for therapy using equine movement when provided by an occupational therapist, physical therapist, or speech-language pathologist.
