OTAC Executive Director
Meghan Weber, B.S, COTA/L

Who is the Executive Director & why were they chosen for this role?

Meghan Weber has been serving as OTAC’s Executive Director since the role was established in 2024. She is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L), who holds a Bachelor of Science degree. She continues to work part-time as a pediatric home health therapist, allowing her to stay actively connected to clinical practice and the day-to-day realities of the profession.

Meghan’s involvement with OTAC began early in her career as the OTAC Pima Student Representative. As she transitioned into practice, she continued her commitment to the profession by joining the OTAC Board, where she served as OTAC’s first Communications Chair.

During her time as Communications Chair, Meghan helped establish foundational systems and processes that continue to support volunteer leaders today. She led significant improvements in member communication by modernizing the OTAC website, expanding OTAC’s social media presence and increasing consistent communication with membership through email and digital outreach.

She also played a key leadership role during one of OTAC’s most challenging periods, helping the organization successfully transition and facilitate its first virtual conference during the COVID-19 pandemic.

When OTAC began evaluating the need for an Executive Director position, Meghan’s long-standing involvement with the organization, understanding of OTAC’s operations, proven leadership experience and demonstrated commitment to strengthening the profession made her a natural fit for the role.

Most importantly, Meghan brings a strong passion for occupational therapy and a deep commitment to protecting, advancing and advocating for the profession across Colorado.

OTAC selected an Executive Director who not only understands nonprofit operations, but also understands the profession, its practitioners and the importance of building a strong future for occupational therapy in our state.
