Conference Information

Date: September 24th (evening) -27th (morning).
Location: Sun Outdoors, Granby Colorado
Theme: Summit to Success: Reaching New Heights in OT

Join us for an unforgettable opportunity to focus on the therapeutic benefits of the outdoor Colorado occupations we love, network with students and practitioners from across the state, connect with our incredible exhibitors and sponsors, and enjoy the beauty of Colorado alongside family, friends, and some furry guests.

This year's conference will be an indoor/outdoor-based conference with interactive, innovative, and activity-based elements which will offer a unique blend of learning and adventure. This conference will be a true occupation-based conference with a primary goal for participants to engage in learning through participation in occupation - the foundational philosophy of our profession.

For the interactive workshops, imagine workshops held under the open sky, brainstorming/networking sessions around a fire pit, and activities in natural surroundings. This will be a refreshing way to break free from our traditional conference settings and challenge our creativity as presenters while fostering connections among participants.

We look forward to having presenters think outside the box and provide interactive and innovative sessions that utilize our unique setting with options for a variety of outdoor activities. We are looking for session leaders who can facilitate creative thinking in practice, provide inspiration, share expert knowledge, connect to innovative clinical practice, and apply information to personal wellness. We also look forward to proposals that address a timely research or practice topic that can be shared in a one hour traditional format to add more options for attendees.

*Please review the Guide for Leading Occupation-Based Activities if you are interested in presenting a 2 hour interactive workshop before completing your proposal application.
